About Kerstin
Shortly after her 30 birthday, Kerstin immigrated to Canada from Germany. Despite being a Foreign Language Correspondent for English and Spanish, she did not dare to speak English. Instead, she returned to art, her first love, to express herself and to find new friends.
To support her artistic endeavours, she started teaching German and art. She combined her art and language teaching skills to help people learn German faster while having more fun. The result is her programme, Learn German Through Art.
Language and art go hand in hand. Where you don’t find the words to express yourself, art allows you to find a non-verbal way. Art and languages enrich your lives, provide relaxation and build bridges of understanding.
Kerstin’s vision has become much more than providing beauty with her artworks. It reflects her experiences and how she has used art to cope, explore and capture her surroundings. She wants to inspire you to see more ways to use creative expressions to help you in your life. She wants you to see your creative potential and embrace your uniqueness by bringing people together to support and inspire each other.

“Whenever I look around me I am amazed by the beauty of nature, its ever changing colour and movement. With my paintings I try to interpret this beauty to prevent it from fading – like a moment frozen in time.”— Kerstin Peters featuring her work of Jessie, her Golden Retriever, entitled, “Forever in my Heart”
